Where: Trill Farm Garden When: 6th August from 11-5
We will be celebrating the diversity of the tomatoes that we grow at Trill Farm Garden with a day of tours, tasters, demos, food and bar, as well as the big tomato throwing competition and kids activities including face painting and tomato themed games and art projects!
Chris from Kit and Kee Catering will be cooking up an amazing two course lunch with produce from the garden and other local suppliers (which you can add to your ticket on the booking form), there will be other demos and tours of the garden with the main focus on tomatoes.
Plan for the day:
11:30 - Morning tour of the garden, with a special focus on the tomatoes, including tasters and a seed saving demo
1:15 - Lunch (this can be booked as an extra or feel free to bring your own)
2 - Tomato cookery demo with Harriet Mansell of Robin Wyld and Lilac Bar.
3 - Tomato throwing competition (see how far you can throw a tomato with a partner before you drop it or it splats all over you)
4 - Market Gardening Q & A

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL - please book here. We do not want to exclude anyone from the event who cannot afford to buy tickets, so please get in touch if you can't find the money to come and we can offer discounts and free tickets.
